What's New?

Cheap Monday Stand Alone Store Coming soon to London
I have it good authority that the ultra cool, Swedish born brand Cheap Monday, are opening their 1st UK stand alone store in London's Carnaby Street in February!

Founded in 2005 and based on a mainly androgynous aesthetic and street style, they mainly specialise in (super super) skinny jeans.  So expect simple silhouettes in muted tones with flashes of vibrant colour.

Frock Me!
Although this is not technically 'new', it is happening soon.  Launched by Matthew Adams in the mid 90's this is the go to place for real vintage clothing (not that 80's stuff) from the 1920's to the 1960's.

Do make sure you check out the tea rooms while you're there, the treats look delectable.  There's always time for cake!

There is also a simultaneous vintage fair running in Brighton.  See www.frockmevintagefashion.com for full details.

SoulStruck
If you like, no, LOVE shoes nearly as much as I do, then check this site out http://www.solestruck.com/

This unique website proclaims its very purpose is 'to rid the world of ugly shoes'!  Well, be that as it may, I am willing to be it's dumping ground.

As you may remember from my previous blogs, I have a little obsession with Brogues (currently I have 9 pairs and counting….).  I have yet to covet a pair from Chaussures-Clif of Paris!

However, as my friends also know, I also LOVE high high high heels.  But not just ordinary ones, my favourite ones are architecturally inspired – such as Finsk, LD Tuttle and Camilla Skovgaard.

However, these brands can come at a hefty price, so Soul Struck is the answer to this problem!!  Check them out.

They are based in the US, but they ship to the UK!  How convenient.
Styles featured from clockwise:  Cobre contrast '252-43' Wedge by Finsk, Turquoise Strappy 'CORALINE' by Messeca, Black Suede 'Skate' by Jeffrey Campbell, Taupe contrast '252-43' Wedge by Finsk, Tan Lattice 'NAIA' by Miista, Black Orange 'SVAN' Wedge by Ego and Greed.
